About Our Pastor

Prior to entering the ministry, Rev. Alan St. George worked for eleven years in the composing room of the Southbridge Evening News in Southbridge Massachusetts . He also served four years in the Navy as an electricians mate aboard the USS Little Rock and, while in the Navy, spent 17 months in Europe . He attended Denver Seminary where he completed the Masters of Divinity course, earning a degree in theology in 1987, and was ordained the same year. From 1983 to 1989, he served as Assistant Pastor and then Pastor of First Baptist Church, Louisville , Colorado .  In September 1989, Rev. St. George and his family moved to Lansing , New York , where he became the Pastor of Grace Baptist Church .  He remained at Grace Baptist until March of 2004 when he was called to a new ministry at Lynbrook Baptist Church .  Pastor Alan and his wife Kathie were married in October 1981.  They have one son, Andrew, who is a senior at Gordon College in Massachusetts .
