Looking for Help from God?
Almost every home in America has a Bible, but in many places, the Bible is forgotten somewhere in a closet or buried under a pile of dust. We want to help you rediscover the nearly Unbelievably Great Good News of the Bible!
This is good news because it means we can learn and change!
Our confusion and ignorance lead us to do things which we shouldn't ("sin"), and to bring all kinds of grief into our lives.
God made us for much more than this, but until we obtain His forgiveness, our sin testifies against us and causes Him to withhold His blessing. (Isaiah 59:2)
This is good news because sin and guilt is definitely treatable!
Even though this is a very old, and sad story, it ends happily, for in the days of the Old Testament God promised He would send someone, a "Messiah" to make things right again by providing forgiveness for guilty sinners.
That's right - for the guilty, the undeserving - for you and me. (Isaiah 53:6)
The New Testament makes it clear that Jesus Christ of Nazareth, born roughly two thousand years ago, was that Messiah. When we trust Him and His atoning death for us ("he bore our sin" 1 Peter 2:24) the Bible says we obtain God's favor and forgiveness, and we are "saved", or "born again." (cf. John 3:3)
Does this sound like a whole new start to you? It should.
God's cure can be compared to "life from the dead."

Bible verses mentioned above:
Eph. 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
Is. 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
Is. 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
1Pet. 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
John 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
