Rev. Bob Walderman // firstname.lastname@example.org
Pastor Bob was born and raised in The Bronx, NY, but has lived his adult life on long Island. Since being saved and baptized in 1974 he has served the Lord in numerous capacities. He worked for Nassau County from 1970-2004 when he retired. In 1992 he enrolled at Bethel Seminary of the east, NYC and graduated with an M.Div. in 1997. He trained as an Intentional Interim Minister and served a number of churches, (including Lynbrook Baptist back in 2003), over 10 years. He became Interim here in Nov. 2009 and was called to be Senior Pastor in early 2010. He has taught at Bible schools in Russia and the Ukraine. His approach to ministry is holistic and incarnational seeking to imitate Christ and provide a godly example. He believes in servant-leadership; influence over authority; people before programs; and the importance of preaching and teaching the whole Word of God. His wife, Helen, has served with him since their marriage in 1969. They have three children and six grandchildren. Pastor Bob enjoys softball, outdoor activities, is a lifetime Yankee and Minnesota Viking fan, and together they enjoy travel, ballroom dancing and days at the zoo.
